Boulder County Jail Biomass Upgrade

Hooked up piping to a new owner-supplied biomass boiler. The boiler was installed in a new dedicated building which required us to run new hot water piping underground to the existing hot water system in the jail. Scope of work also included furnishing and installing two new chillers (one 200-ton and one 100-ton) with associated piping, pumps and VFDs. Furnished and installed two 6” reduced pressure backflow preventers at the main water entry.

Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility Kitchen Drain Line

Replacement; of over 1000′ of below-grade kitchen grease waste piping and sanitary waste piping. The majority of the existing cast iron pipe was replaced with stainless steel. Also included the removal and replacement of concrete and tile. All work was completed while the kitchen was in use and occupied.
